HUMID WEATHER IMPACT
Humidity can affect air quality. It is not unusual for people to experience breathing difficulties on hot, humid days. Elevated levels of water vapor in the atmosphere can displace oxygen molecules, so that the air inhaled with each breath actually contains less oxygen. Breathing requires extra physical effort. The additional moisture in the air can also capture increased amounts of mold, pollen, and ground-level ozone, all of which are known triggers for asthma attacks and allergic reactions. If asthma and allergy sufferers notice heightened symptoms during humid weather, precautions can be taken to limit the seriousness of their discomfort. Taking prescribed medications and limiting exposure to outside air as much as possible may help.
P.S. Excess moisture can be removed from air inside buildings with the use of air conditioners and dehumidifiers.
